The society started Highland Public School in Dharamshala in the year 2006 in a rented premise. The school was shifted in 2010 its own campus spread over 2 acres. The school campus, apart from an administration block and 10 academic blocks, also has a multipurpose auditorium, separate volleyball, badminton, basket ball/tennis courts and a large multipurpose playground for cricket, football, hockey and athletics.
The emphasis of the school is to provide education at par with the best available in large metropolitan cities at highly affordable and subsidized costs to the local students of Dharamshala and its suburbs. We wish to make Highland Public School a landmark in Himachal which has a truly international flavour with Indian values. It will not only be a jewel in the crown of Dharamshala but whole of Himachal Pradesh.

…In order to provide the best facilities for all-round development of students, we have created an optimum environment where every aspect of teaching and learning is supported by modern and relevant technology. We take pride in fostering the intellectual and social development of children during their formative years.
Classroom presentations and individual instructions help our students learn and apply concepts in subjects such as Science, Mathematics or English. Hands-on approach, props, manipulatives are applied to help children understand abstract concepts, solve problems, and develop critical thought processes in order to help them succeed in life.
